We are seeking a full-time Assistant Principal for Academic Achievement at Liberty High School. This will be a 10-month administrative position. All full-time assistant principals in our district are on a one year contract.
This new position is intentionally focused on instruction and student performance. Key responsibilities will include:
Conducting classroom walkthroughs
Completing formal observations and providing feedback
Conducting pacing guide checks
Overseeing individual teacher growth plans
Analyzing student performance data
Addressing instructional concerns
Participating in team meetings
Signing Career Ladder logs
Collaborating with the Curriculum and PD Director
Assisting with discipline and attendance concerns
Assisting with hiring staff
Organizing Scholar Bowl and SCA Academic Relays
Strengthening CTE programs
Assisting with building assemblies
Overseeing the A+ Program with the Counselor
Overseeing the Dual Credit program
Assisting with the building CSIP
Posting on district social media and keeping the school webpage updated
Meeting regularly with the principal
Performing other duties as assigned
This role will provide focused leadership in areas that directly impact student growth and post-secondary readiness. By adding a dedicated instructional leader at the high school level, we are reinforcing our commitment to supporting teachers, strengthening systems, and ensuring every student is prepared for success beyond graduation.

Mountain View-Birch Tree R-III School District is currently seeking bids for Private Nursing, Occupational Therapy,Speech Therapy, and Physical Therapy services. Candidates must possess appropriate Missouri certification for the position they are requesting. All contractors must be aware that they are not insured by any of the Mountain View-Birch Tree School District insurance policies including worker’s compensation. Bidders must specify one (1) hourly rate for all services provided. For Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy services, include a plan of provision of therapy, diagnostic; evaluative testing, development of IEPs, maintaining records, screening; identification of children, meeting with parents, recommendations, and travel expenses. Services will be rendered starting August 1st through the end of the 2026-2027 school year following the Mountain View-Birch Tree School District calendar and school day times, with the possibility of some Extended School Year services.
