Assistant Superintendent Vacancy

The Mountain View-Birch Tree R-III School District invites candidates to apply for the position of Assistant Superintendent of Schools for the 2023-2024 school year.  The Applicant must have knowledge of basic operations and district programs, such as federal programs,  Title IX, College and Career Readiness, MOCAP, CSIP development, food services, school transportation, teacher and administrator evaluation system, and various district extra curricular programs.

Part-time Private Duty Nurse (Mountain View Elementary)

(Immediate Opening)

The Mountain View-Birch Tree R-III School District is seeking a part-time private duty nurse for a student at Mountain View Elementary.  Applicant must be a R.N. or L.P.N.  The nurse will provide one-on-one care and patient interaction, be responsible for vital signs and physical assessments, administration of medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician, and documentation of patient's ongoing condition.  G-tubes, trach and vent care is possible.  Nurse must be willing to ride the school bus with the student.   Nurse will not provide in-home care.   

Terms of Employment:  12-14 hours/week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Hourly Wage:  $20/hour

Special Education Paraprofessionals

The Mountain View-Birch Tree R-III School District is seeking at least 2 paraprofessionals to work fulltime the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year. Paraprofessionals will be working directly with special education students, providing instructional and/or self-care supports. The position may include working with students who require toileting/feeding assistance and/or a significant amount of behavior supports. The Mountain View-Birch Tree R-III School District is seeking an ISS Monitor to work at Birch Tree Elementary and Mountain View Elementary the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year. This person will we working with students who need extra behavior supports at school. This is a full-time position. This position is funded by a grant for the 2022-2023 school year.
