Mark your calendars for November 23! We’ve been invited to attend a Grizzly Basketball game, and admission is FREE for students and staff! Dr. Walt Belcher, a retired principal and coach of the Liberty Eagles, personally stopped by to invite us all. It’s a wonderful chance to support our community, cheer on the Grizzlies, and maybe even catch up with a favorite Eagle coach!

LHS Chess Club won 2nd place in the West Plains Fall Classic Tournament! Zedakiah Boyer won 5th place in the individual divisions! Congratulations!
Eagles with a big win tonight over Houston 42-0. Eagles will travel to Fair Grove next week to play for the district championship.
Eighth-grade science students reviewed for their test with a game of Battleship, using science concepts to “sink” ships while prepping in a fun, engaging way!

Friday night the Liberty Eagles will host the Houston Tigers in a week 9 rematch for the chance to play in the district championship next week. Game time will be 7:00 pm and admission will be $6.00 for ages 6 and over. There will be no passes accepted other than a MSHSAA lifetime pass.
Due to current road conditions and the weather forecast, school will not be in session tomorrow, Tuesday, November 5. This is NOT an AMI day. Students will not be completing work packets at home. We will see all of our students on Wednesday.
The JH game tonight at home with Gatewood has been cancelled due to high water and more flooding this afternoon and evening.
Mrs. Moore’s class got a hands-on treat-making experience by creating donuts out of biscuits! Students used a donut hole maker to craft their delicious treats, choosing either powdered or granulated sugar for the perfect topping. Some students might have enjoyed theirs a little extra!
What a fun and tasty way to practice cooking skills – and a big hit with everyone involved!
Eagles win the first round district game vs Springfield Catholic 12 - 8. Next Friday night at 7pm, they will face Houston at the Eagles nest. District admission will be $6.00.
School will be in session on May 5, 2025.
Tonight's football game is regular admission and will not be digital ticketing. If we play at home next week the price will increase to the MSHSAA $6.00 for 6 years and over.

Postseason Fall sports, tonight the volleyball Eagles head to Miller for sectional volleyball 6:30, and tomorrow the football team will play Catholic at 7 pm.
Congratulations to LMS student Ethan Dodd, he is ranked 7th in meet history for the Middle School State Championship. Ethan ran the 2 miles in 11:38. Great job Ethan!!
