Better Together – No Supplies Needed!
We’re early on purpose so you don’t waste any of your summer thinking about school supplies! Thanks to the generosity of our amazing Birch Tree and Mountain View communities, families will not need to purchase school supplies for the 2025-2026 school year. Let your friends know!
Extra generous donations last summer, along with a little help from the district, made it possible. Supplies are already being ordered and will be ready in classrooms when school starts in August.
Our awesome Back to School Kickoff Committee is already hard at work, and will be sharing more details about the event later this summer.
We are incredibly proud of all our students who participated in the Heart of the Ozarks Fair this year! Several of our students had the opportunity to showcase and sell their animals!

The Liberty Quarterback Club will be having a football scrimmage Thursday June 12th at 6:30! Come out and support our Eagles! There will be hamburgers, hotdogs and strawberry lemonade available for sale, so come hungry!
Not only is this a great time to see your 25-26 Eagles in action, but it is also a great time to come out and help them raise money for camp!

We’re proud to announce that four LHS students have been hired as student interns this summer as part of their journey toward a future career in education! 🎓
Please help us congratulate Haylee Voyles, Victoria Snyder, Teytam McClellan, and Sarina Cox—four inspiring young leaders who are on a journey to become educators.
These students will be working with our summer school program, gaining hands-on experience and learning valuable teaching strategies along the way. Their internship is sponsored and led by Mrs. Booke Field, our Educators Rising sponsor, who will guide and mentor them throughout this exciting opportunity.
This incredible experience has been made possible through the DESE Grow Your Own Grant, which supports districts in developing future educators right here at home.
We are thrilled these students are considering a career in education and look forward to the day we welcome them back as Mountain View-Birch Tree teachers!

Summer School Bus Update – Please Read! 🚍
As we kick off summer school, here are a few important transportation updates for families:
🕖 Morning Pick-Up Times:
Buses will run approximately 10 minutes later than usual in the mornings due to summer school starting later than during the regular year. Please plan accordingly!
BTE Morning Drop-Off Option:
If you're dropping students off at Birch Tree Elementary in the morning:
Mrs. Jester or a designated staff member will be there from 7:05–7:35 AM.
Bus #1 (Bill Woolsey) will transport those students to LMS/LHS/MVE.
Bus will leave BTE at 7:35 AM sharp, so please arrive early!
BTE Afternoon PPU:
A staff member will be present at BTE in the afternoon to receive students who need to be picked up there. Bus #1 will drop those students off before continuing its regular PM route.
📋 Route Planning:
We’re starting with the same bus routes used during the school year. As we get a better idea of who is attending summer school, some routes may be consolidated.
➡️ Please note:
Buses that usually have 20–40 students during the school year often carry only 10–15 during summer school. This means routes may run quicker than usual in both the morning and afternoon. We’ll adjust as needed once we’ve run routes for a few days.

All district soccer 1st team Grace Radford, 2nd team Aliyah Kramer. All district softball 2nd team Delani Ellett, Jayli Tharp, Ashlynn Henry Shelby Holdt. All SCA softball, Delani Ellett honorable mention.
All SCA baseball, 1st team pitcher of the year and player of the year Gavin Reese. 2nd team Parker and Cooper Holden, honorable mention Tytus Jester. Congratulations to these excellent student athletes.
The Mountain View-Birch Tree family is heartbroken to share the passing of one of our cherished elementary teachers. She was more than a colleague—she was a treasured friend, a mentor, and a teacher who lived her calling every single day. Her love for children and her kind heart made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege to know her.
She was deeply loved by her students, co-workers, and this entire community. Her absence will be felt in every hallway, every classroom, and every heart. Please keep her family, students, and loved ones in your thoughts during this difficult time.
