How can 1st quarter be over? LMS celebrated 95% or better attendance with floats today! Any student with 100% attendance received a computer sticker and had their name put in a drawing for a $50 Nike gift card! Gavin Sharp won the card, but 198 students earned a float! Thank you to Connolly Insurance for sponsoring our attendance incentives and to Tressa Henry for the gift card.
Strive for less than five!

Kam Wood is the Co State Champion in girls golf. What an incredible accomplishment and we are so proud of her.
In the live scoring on MSHSAA, Kam Wood is leading by 1 with 3 holes to play in the Class 1 Girls Golf Tournament! 🦅

We have purchased some games that students can play when finished eating. Students are working so hard in class, and they deserve a little fun and relaxation! LMS is a great place to be!

MVE 5th grade began a force and motion unit with some Balloon Rockets! Working in teams, students used their collaboration and problem solving skills to design a rocket to go the furthest distance.

At MVE there were 82 students with perfect attendance during the month of September. These students were put into a drawing and 6 names were chosen to win a free Happy Meal.

LMS StuCo is holding a Mother (or significant female) and Son Dance on October 28. If you have a child in grades K-3, it will be a great time! Forms went home or you can print this form and return it to either elementary school!

Best of luck to HS volleyball as they play for the SCA title tonight in Thayer.
We have been hearing from several parents that have received a P-EBT card in the mail from the Missouri Family Support Division. This card is a result of the pandemic. It is not a scam. Please contact FSD if you have any questions. DESE has a Q&A document that you might want to take a look at. https://dese.mo.gov/media/pdf/p-ebt-frequency-asked-questions-answers-sy-2021-22-and-summer-2022-parentguardian
