Today at Liberty High School, our students had the opportunity to experience the Missouri Drive Alive program! The program brought their driving simulator, allowing students to see firsthand the dangers of driving while impaired or distracted. By practicing in a safe environment, students were able to understand how quickly choices behind the wheel can impact their safety and the safety of others. The Drive Alive Tour is designed to raise awareness and encourage students to make safe, responsible decisions when it comes to driving. We are grateful to have had this program at Liberty High today and for the powerful lessons it provided our students. We want to thank our Traction Team and Mr. Daniels for their role in bringing the tour to LHS!

The first two weeks of school at Birch Tree Elementary have been full of energy and excitement! This morning, our new Assistant Principal, Mrs. Shockley, was out on the sidewalk greeting students with high fives and smiles while music played to kick off the day. What a great way to start the morning!

We are grateful for the partnership with Life360 Birch Tree, who provides afternoon snacks for our elementary students each day. Under the leadership of Brandon Tate, the Life360 team delivers totes to our elementary buildings every afternoon. Each student receives a bag of snacks/food to eat before leaving school, helping to ensure that no child goes home hungry.

This free service has been a true blessing to our students and families, and we sincerely thank Life360 for their commitment to our communities.

Today at Mountain View Elementary, an ambulance was called to help a student who experienced a seizure. This student is prone to seizures, and thanks to our staff’s quick response, the student received the care they needed right away. We are so thankful for our local Fire Chief and ambulance team for taking such good care of our students. Their fast response and kindness mean so much to us and our school family.

Several Liberty Eagles in grades 4–12 filled three theater rooms at the Glass Sword Cinema on Monday morning to celebrate their success on the 2024–2025 MAP and EOC assessments!

We are so proud of our students who scored Proficient or Advanced last year. While not all advanced and proficient student could attend, we missed celebrating with those who couldn’t join us.

We were able to capture one group picture to remember this special day—even though three theaters were packed full of our amazing students!

Eagles, you rock!

We tried to snap some pictures of one of our MVBT Preschool classes on the playground, but it’s tough to catch these little learners being still.

These kiddos have 13–14 years ahead of them as Liberty Eagles, and we are so excited to be part of their journey.

It's been a great first week in PK!
